Greater Pittsburgh Road Runners

About Us

The Greater Pittsburgh Road Runners Club is a non-profit organization that encourages fun and fitness through low-key running and walking activities.

We were founded in 1974, and GPRRC tries to keep things inexpensive and interesting.  We are affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America, which helps cover insurance and administrative costs. Most of our runs are on roads or forest trails.

Our races are fun, adventurous, and sometimes challenging, for both runners and walkers alike.

We have monthly runs on either Saturday or Sunday mornings throughout the Pittsburgh Area.

Our memberships are great for singles, couples, and families.

For those that REALLY love running, we do have races that include super marathons (races beyond 26 miles)!

Most races for members cost $1.00 to participate, except for ultras.

GPRRC is also consistently giving back to the community through our bi-annual South Park Clean Up event.
