Happy New Year 2024!
After some 35 years or so, the GPRRC has a new president. With this note, I would like to acknowledge the work done by Bruce McGlothlin, who has led this club for so long. Bruce has been the welcoming face of the GPRRC and the director of half of the runs we put on each year for decades now. Just about any and everyone who has run with us has received a smile and a kind comment from Bruce at one point or another. Truly proper recompense for the torture of the various courses he has guided us through! We have all gained by our association with this venerable man whose heart matches the size of his mustache. Fortunately, Bruce plans to continue directing his various trail runs in South Park. We certainly hope he will do so for many years to come. In the meantime, I hope you will join me in thanking him when you see him for his service as president dating back to the 1980s.
